Another big social issue today is problems with polluting our environment. A huge movement that has taken place is Go Green. This has taken place because of the global warming phenomena. Some consider it a myth and a scam to make mass amounts of money by making people guilty about their "carbon footprint." 

Whatever the facts and truth may be, our society has deemed Environmental Problems a Social Problem. They are also something that has a big part in politics.
